Lanarkshire Motorcycle Club

Welcome to Lanarkshire Motorcycle Club Web Site.  We organise trials through-out the Central Belt of Scotland from Killin in the North to Galashiels and Hawick in the South.

We cater for riders of all levels of ability, from young to old.  

The Club continues to go from strength to strength and new members are always welcome.

BOB MACGREGOR TRIALS ACADEMY

After a great deal of hard work over the last year, the Bob MacGregor Trials Academy opened on 13th March.  It is located at Totherick Quarry, Dunlop,

KA3 4EH. Contact Iain Shankie (07831681728) for details of training and practice availability.

Our next trial is the Fintry weekend, Saturday 4 Sept club trial starting at 12:00 and Sunday 5 Sept 11:00 start which is our round of the Scottish Support Championship.

ACCESS TO FINTRY

Road work is scheduled by the Council to take place during August and September that will result in the B818 being closed from the Carron Bridge Hotel west for 2 miles.  Access to Todholes Farm will only be possible from the west via Fintry village.  Click HERE to see Council map (the green is the area being worked on).

ISSUES AT CLUB TRIALS

Two issues have arisen at recent Club trials that greatly concern the Committee.

* At the recent trial at Dalrigh markers at Section 6 were moved to change the section.  Despite the markers being returned to their correct position they were moved another twice during the day.

* It has been observed by Committee members that some riders have not been punching their cards correctly in relation to the marks actually lost.

THESE ISSUES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL BE DEALT WITH.

PUNCHES

The Club is loosing punches at each trial. Could riders have a look and see if they have any and, if so, pass them back to Doreen at their next Club trial.  Thanks.
