Lanarkshire Motorcycle Club

Welcome to the Lanarkshire Motorcycle Club web site.  We organise trials through-out the Central Belt of Scotland from Killin in the North to Galashiels and Hawick in the South.  We cater for riders of all levels of ability, from young to old.  The Club continues to go from strength to strength and new members are always welcome.

BOB MACGREGOR TRIALS ACADEMY

After a great deal of hard work over the last year, the Bob MacGregor Trials Academy opened on 13th March.  It is located at Totherick Quarry, Dunlop,

KA3 4EH. Contact Iain Shankie (07831681728) for details of training and practice availability.

 

NEXT TRIAL

Our next trial is the  last round of the Club Championship and will be held at the Bob MacGregor Trials Academy at Dunlop on 3 October starting at 11:00.

SACU TEAM TRIAL

The SACU Team Trial will be run by the Perth club at Monzie on 24 October.  This trial is for teams of Adults or Youths (A and B) consisting of 4 riders.  Event regulations and entry form available HERE.  Complete the entry form, remembering that you need to provide 1 observer per team, and send it to Doreen who will collate them and send them to the event secretary.  The Club will pay the entry fees.

ISSUES AT CLUB TRIALS

Two issues have arisen at recent Club trials that greatly concern the Committee.

* At the recent trial at Dalrigh markers at Section 6 were moved to change the section.  Despite the markers being returned to their correct position they were moved another twice during the day.

* It has been observed by Committee members that some riders have not been punching their cards correctly in relation to the marks actually lost.

THESE ISSUES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL BE DEALT WITH.

PUNCHES

The Club is loosing punches at each trial. Could riders have a look and see if they have any and, if so, pass them back to Doreen at their next Club trial.  Thanks.
